Step 1
Starting in 1th position
Step 2
Move knees outward direct line over center of feet; keep heels on floor when descending until reaching demi-plié. Raise arm slightly, turning palm downward
Step 3
Continue plié downward, lifting heels a slight distance from floor
as body descends, and carry arm downward in front of body.
Step 4
Upon reaching maximum bend of grand plié, press heels to floor and rise immediately. As you rise and straighten knees, carry arm upward, rounded and extended, fingers in line with center of body, to chest level.
Step 5
Straighten knees at termination of each plié. When body is erect, carry arm outward to side.
